Week 1 Overview

You will learn the basic of self-introduction, the polite form of verbs and all hiragana (46 characters).

Day 1 

  1. Grammar focus on the particles ha and mo (は, も)
  2. Particle ka to express questions and doubts (か)
  3. Counting from 1 to 100 
  4. 10 hiragana (あ, い, う, え, お, か, き, く, け, こ)

Day 2

  1. Grammar focus on kono, sono, ano (こぼ, そぼ, あぼ)
  2. Grammar focus on nan and dare (ăȘん, だれ)
  3. Grammar focus on no (た) to indicate possession
  4. Counting from 101 to 1000
  5. 10 hiragana (さし, す, せ, そ, た, づ, ぀, お, ず)

Day 3

  1. Grammar focus on koko, soko, asoko (ここ, そこ、あそこ)
  2. Grammar focus on no (た) to categorize something 
  3. Grammar focus on doko, ikura (どこ, いくら)
  4. Counting up to 100,000, counting yen, things, and floors
  5. 10 hiragana (ăȘ, に, く, ね, た, は, ăČ, ご, ぞ, ほ)

Day 4 

  1. Grammar focus on the particle wo (を), present tense (V-masu) and negative form (V-masen)
  2. Grammar focus on the particle de (で) and to (ず)
  3. Grammar focus on nani (ăȘに)
  4. Expressing time (today, tomorrow, yesterday, etc.)
  5. 8 hiragana (ăŸ, み, む, め, も, や, ゆ, よ)

Day 5 

  1. How to tell time (What time is it?)
  2. Grammar focus on the particles ni, kara, made, goro (に, から, ăŸă§, ごろ)
  3. Grammar focus on past tense (V-mashita)
  4. 8 hiragana (ら, り, る, れ, ろ, わ, を, ん)
