Week 10 Review

Congratulations on completing week ten! After finishing your lessons you should now know:

• 9 new kanji
• 12 new words in katakana
• How to use question words + verb in plain form + か, use 個 (ko) counter for things and 泊 (haku) counter for nights of stay, use 何か国 (nankakoku) and count countries, use the verb in plain form + んです (i.e. 話してるんです) and use a verb in plain form +ですが
• How to use a verb in plain form + でしょう to ask for approval, use a question word + verb in た form + らいいですか to seek instruction from the listener, use a verb in た form + どうですか to give advice, and use a verb in て form + いただけませんか to say “could you please”
• Noun 1 + Noun 2 + が + Verb in potential form
• Verbs in potential form, verb in てform + みます to express “trying to do something”, and verb in plain form + かどうか  to express “whether or not”
• How to use 5 new grammar points:
  • Grammar focus on the use of はっきり
